UK VAT is removed automatically where appropriate based on the delivery destination. Depending on the country you're ordering from, local VAT, import duty or courier charges may instead apply.
Any such charges are the responsibility of the recipient to pay (as stated in our terms and conditions of sale). We will provide the relevant customs documentation, either a CN22/23 and/or a commercial invoice on the outside of the parcel for the receiving customs office to view.
Where available, we'll show an estimate of these charges during checkout. The final amount is determined by the authorities in the destination country, so if you're unsure we recommend checking with your local customs authority before ordering.
Orders to Jersey and Guernsey will have UK VAT removed automatically when the correct country and postcode are selected.
Deliveries to selected British Forces Post Offices (BFPO) within the EU may be also exempt VAT subject to the completion and production of relevant forms. HM Navy ships are classed as resident in the UK and thus VAT is payable.
